Intention Yarns is a yarn company like no other.
Where other yarn companies lure you to purchase with flashy colors and catchy colorway names, we believe that yarn and knitting can be more. The core belief of Intention Yarns is that the combination of intention, yarn, pattern and knitter combine to imbue finished objects with that intention. While we can’t guarantee that the recipient of these objects will be healed/become stronger/etc, we do believe that the power of deliberate creation is a powerful thing.

Heather Monroe Kinne acquired Intention Yarns in spring of 2010 and has been working hard with the previous owner to create the look and feel of Intention Yarns. Although under new ownership, Heather is confident that the yarns and fibers created will be as beautiful and high-quality as the previous evolution. Every effort is being made to uphold the principles and beliefs surrounding Intention Yarns. While some changes have been necessary due to climate and water conditions, we feel that these changes only serve to enhance this new evolution of the Intention Yarns line.
